The Flora and Scenery

It's a beautiful place, with beautiful trees, flowers, and other plant life that make every season special. One of the things I miss most when I'm not at the farm is seeing the different flora come alive (or retreat) at various times in the year. These things help mark the passage of time, and are something to look forward to as they approach and miss after they are gone.

John likes to send photos from time to time to show me the arrival of various blooms around the farm. I am always happy when I get these texts. Many of the photos below are from him.

Most everything in the pictures below, save for the very old trees, was planted by John, my Mom, and our family across the last 40 years.
